Snow Buddies

We had a couple of the kids friends over last night and these buddies immediately headed outside for a little snow fun.  Snowmobiling, sledding and golf cart rides.

We finally had a chance to build Mr. Snowman today!

Today the world welcomed Bennett Nicholas Terpstra!

Three precious little girls welcome a brother and Two amazing people welcomed a son! Thank you Lord for another example of your unending love and gracious blessings!

Mmmmmm Tasty

We had another first over here today.  We decided to make some banana bread and Parker wanted to be in charge.  So, now that he is able to read a lot of words I handed him the recipe and said go for it. Ahhh! Am I wasting a bunch of food right now or is this actually going to turn out?     

   

Success Folks! Can beat warm bread right out of the oven.  Must say he was pretty proud as was I :)

Walking Sweet Heart

Just wanted to share a picture of our walking Sweet Heart. She has sure mastered the walking part and has even started her own "dancing". Such a fun stage to see. We call her our little weeble wobble.

Ashamed to admit...

...that today I took my boys to the Grand Rapids Childrens Museum for the first time. I know, I know, it's awful. We don't live that far away and after seeing how much fun the boys had, I regret that we have not been there before.

Fridays can be a long day for us here at the Leeuws. I don't work and the boys don't have school, so they are always begging to do something fun, not boring and no errands. Well, I remembered that I bought a groupon for the GRCM a while back and thought it would be a perfect day for it. I am prepping the boys all morning about a surprise that I had for them. They were asking all kinds of questions like are there toys and is it big? Of course there are toys, more than you can imagine I say. Griffin bursts in asking... Just like Heaven? Ummmm, well that is one way to look at it! We all get ready and I go to print off the groupon only to realize it expired last week. Yup, no turning back now, looks like we pay full price kiddos! Totally worth it! :)

I think I Can I Think I Can

Maybe if I keep repeating that to myself I will magically be able to keep up with this whole blogging thing. Sorry everyone, life gets a little busy around here and no offense but a blog has not been my top priority. But, yes there is a but, I have been "informed" by quite a few people in the past week or two that they would really like to keep up with our family a little bit better and the blog would be a great way to do that. I can't make any promises however, I am going to try to keep up a teensy bit better. So here is a start..... An updated picture of my Three amazing children. For those of you wondering... Yes that is a first ponytail for Tessa! Well actually a large bow and a teeny little sprout that you cant even see. But this is big people. We have only been waiting a year for this. :)
