What have we been up to?

Sorry about the side ways picture...
These next couple pictures are of our lot that we have purchased. We finally decided to build rather that buy a house and are getting the ball rolling. Parker loves to visit the "poperty" as he calls is and play around in the dirt. He would do it all day if we would let him. Jeff decided to to dig the hole with the help of his brother Scott, who is way to good to us. The hole is dug and the walls are being poured today. It's going to be a fun project and we can't wait to see the finished product.

We will update later as to how everything is going

Yes, it's that time. We have started potty training Parker. He is really doing well with it but has a hard time with the pooping part. I'm sure that he'll catch on real soon. But for now, it is just the cutest thing and he gets so excited when he has success.

Betty Crocker watch out!

Parker and I made dinner for the Maatmans and there new baby girl a couple of days ago. We had Brownies for desert and Parker loved baking. It was so fun to see them again and visit with them. Elle Sophia is doing great and is quite possibly one of the cutest little girls I have seen in a while. Anyway, here is proof that boys can bake.

Mini Me...

Like Father like son. Everything that Jeff does Parker has to try. It really is the cutest thing. They are the best buds you could every find. Jeff is such a wonderful Dad to him and does such a great job. What a blessing!!!

UPDATE!!!

Like I said earlier we had an ultrasound at the end of last week just to make sure everything was on track with the baby, and..... GREAT news!! All is well, heart rate was perfect the baby measured perfect and all was in order. We were also told that once we have seen a heart rate at this stage and have seen what we saw, the chance of a mis or any complications goes down huge. So, thanks for the prayers so far, any more would still be appreciated. Hope all is well with everyone else and that everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

GOOD NEWS!!!!

Hey everyone, we just wanted to fill you in on some good news..... Baby #2 is on the way!!! I am just about 7 weeks along but with the complications in the past, it was kind of hard to keep a secret. Everything looks great so far, we have had a couple of blood tests which have been perfect and an ultrasound tomorrow which will tell more. So, if you could keep us in your prayers for a healthy baby and to calm our nerves a bit that would be greatly appreciated. More updates to come!!

Trick-Or-Treat

Parker had soooo much fun trick or treating this year. He went with his cousin Lily the Ladybug. It took him a little bit to grasp the whole concept but eventually he got it. The first door he went to he said the whole trick or treat thing and when they opened the door he set his bag down inside the door, turned around and walked away. Once he got it, loved it

Parker has a special giraffe that he sleeps with every night so when I saw this costume I just had to get it!!

Some Fall Pics

I saw that it was going to get a bit rainy and cold in the next couple of days, so I thought I would try to get some fall pics of Parker outside. Here's a couple of them.....
Warning..... He is in a stage of when we ask him to smile or "show us his teeth" we get quite the fake smile. I don't know what else to do or how to get a real smile. If you have any ideas please share.

Our Little Pumpkins

This past weekend Jeff, Parker and I got together with Matt, Heathter and Ava to "cut" pumpkins as Parker would say. It was really fun and super messy. I carved the good old pumpkin head, Matt carved a very successful Hello Kitty and Daddy carved the famouse Lamar Construction "L". We let the kids pick out the pumpkin seeds so we could bake them and eat em'. They didn't turn out very good at all but it's the thought that counts right. All in all a great night. Now we are getting ready to go Trick or Treating on Wednesday. Can't wait to see everyones great costumes!

Boys Will Be Boys!!

Now that we are living with Jeff's parents Parker gets to be spoiled and do all kinds of fun things. Every day he gets to feed both the fish and the deer. He also gets in touch with his masculine side by riding with his uncle "Scooter" on all of his fun toys. I sure am glad that he has great men in his life to teach him how to be a man. Little do they all know that when he plays with his friends on other days he loves to wear high heels and have tea parties. Shhhh!!!! Don't tell Dad!!

Weekend Get a way!

A week and a half ago Jeff and I went to Myrtle Beach for a nice long weekend. It was so much fun and perfect weather. We were able to relax on the beach, go out for dinners, play a little mini golf (I won by the way), went to the Ripley's aquarium and took in a great Nascar race. We met a couple people Jeff works with down there before the race and hung out with them, but for the mojority of the trip it was just the two of us. The trip was well needed and way to short as always. Anyway, here are a couple of pics we took. The picture of the cars at the race is of Jeff Gordon, who won and made Jeff happy, crossing the finish line.

Splish Splash I Was Takin' A Bath!!

This is our new favorite thing... When clean up time comes after a hard day of playing, he loves to jump right in the sink. He thinks he is so cool and it is soo special. So here he is in Grandma and Grandpa's sink.

Living Situation!!

Just thought we would fill everyone in a little bit. A while back (approx 1 month) we sold our house. It was kind of a whim thing. We had to be out within just a couple of days and didn't have a place to go. So, we moved in with Jeff's parents and have been there ever since. New address for the time being is 6456 146th Ave Holland MI 49423. By the way, If you see any houses in the laketown area that look like us, please let us know.

A Day at the Park

Yesterday I had a play date with my friend Ava at Virginia Park. It was so much fun. We had a little picnic before our moms let us run loose. Our moms were trying to take really cute pictures of us but that doesn't really work when we don't know how to sit still. It was a pretty hot day for early October, but we still had fun. I think my favorite part is the slide even though it does really silly things to my hair.
